The Los Angeles Herald Examiner was a major Los Angeles daily newspaper locates in southern Downtown Los Angeles was founded by William Randolph Hearst. The Harald Examiner’s headquarter project is another commission work between the Heasrts family and Julia Morgan. The building has an outstanding appearance with Asian, Spanish, Italian and Moorish motif and ornament. The interior is ornate with marble and gold with hand-painted tiled flooring, carved marble walls in Arts and Crafts decorative patterns.
